Recover From A Cheat On HCG Diet

We have all done it and most of us don’t feel that good after cheating on a diet.  But you have less to stress about than you think.  Well this may set you back a few days it is far from the end of the world.  After all we are around not so friendly dieting foods all day and it can be a little hard to stop yourself.

With family enjoying turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, string beans, peas, rolls, red velvet cake, coconut cake, pumpkin pie, apple pie, sweet potato pie, ice cream, whip cream, deviled eggs, roasted chicken, prime ribs, lamb, and on and on and on. You can see how cutting down to 500 calories a day would be a little hard.

Trust me what I say I know, I am not on week one of the diet and there have been a few times I was about to cheat.

If you do cheat there are a few things you should do and think about.

1st: Do not beat yourself up and stress about it. This is the worst thing you can do for you and the diet.  You should accept that you cheated and move on. The more you beat yourself up over it, the more you are not thinking about how you are going to stick to this diet.

2nd: Work out a little and try your best to work off some of the extra calories you have taken in.  Go for a light run or and do some sit-ups.  Not that it is a good thing you cheated or you should but you are able to work it off so done stress.

3rd: Drink more water! Often people cheat due to feeling hungry and drinking water can really help with your hunger.

4th: Look at what lead to you cheating and don’t let it happen again. After all if you do not learn from it you will end up doing it again.

5th: Smile, if you are reading this you care about your health and that puts you in a better spot than a lot of people.

Again, cheating on a diet is never a good thing but if you work hard and get back on track than you have nothing to lose sleep over.

Just don’t stress as that is bad for the body and will only set you back.
